How we handle your details
A short, plain account of what the sign-up form collects and what we do with it. It may change as the service develops.
Who we are
ATS Hosting is run by Agent Tech Systems. When this page says "we", that is who it means.
What we collect
When you sign up, the form asks for the following, and we keep it so that we can set up and run your site:
- Your username, email address and password. The password is kept only as a salted hash, and we can't read it.
- The authenticator secret that your two-factor sign-in uses.
- What your site is called and does, the address you would like, any custom domain you want to use, and its repository, branch and framework.
- Which storage you want (a database, a vector store, file storage), which SEO layers you would like, and the tier you choose.
- Anything you add in the notes.
- When you sign in, the IP address and browser of that session, and a log of account actions (such as signing up) with the IP address they came from. We use these to keep accounts secure.
Why we collect it
To create your account, to review your request, to launch and run your site, and to get in touch with you about it. We don't sell your details, and we don't use them for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
When you sign in we set a cookie that keeps you signed in, and, for up to ten minutes while you enter your two-factor code, one more that holds the half-finished sign-in. We also remember your choice of light or dark theme in your browser's own storage. This site has no advertising or tracking scripts.
Who can see it
The people who run ATS Hosting can see your account and your requests, because they need to in order to run the service. So can the operator tools they use, which include an AI assistant. Our network provider carries all traffic to this site. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else, except where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. You can withdraw a request from your account page, and you can ask us to delete your account and the details that go with it at any time.
We keep a security log of account actions, such as signing up (with the email and IP address used). It stays after an account is deleted.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To do any of these, use the contact page on the Agent Tech Systems website.
